Please join us on Wednesday, December 17 as the Roundtable welcomes the Maysles Documentary Center and NeON Arts in a special screening of four documentary films: spirituality, domestic violence, the impact of technology on human relationships, and a portrait of a Brooklyn-born comedian.
The films were produced by community members, including those on probation, who participated in a twelve-week hands-on documentary intensive. Join us for a Q&A with the Filmmakers and Christine Peng, Education Director of Maysles Documentary Center.
The Maysles Documentary Center (MDC) is a Harlem-based, non-profit organization dedicated to the production and exhibition of documentary films that inspire dialogue and action.
NeON Arts is a project of the NYC Department of Probation (DOP) that offers young people in New York City, including those on probation, the chance to explore the arts through projects in a variety of disciplines, including dance, music, theater, visual arts, poetry, and digital media.
This event is free. We look forward to seeing you!
