The HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) provides financial and social services to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. The training will cover HASA eligibility and applications; the benefits provided, including rent enhancement, home care, and the nutrition & transportation supplement; how HASA clients are budgeted, including Cash Assistance and SSI budgeting rules and the budgeting of earned income; and advocacy.
Not approved for CEU credit.
The Community Service Society of New York SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0213.
