The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is here. The initial enrollment period began on October 1, 2013 and will extend through March 31, 2014. Come learn what the ACA is and how it will impact New Yorkers. This training will provide you with the information and resources on how ACA is expanding access to health care, including exemptions and penalties, the types of financial assistance available to low and moderate income populations, what kind of plans are available, available consumer protections, the NY State of Health Marketplace and enrolling in a plan, including verification, and how Navigators can help.
